Long time, no post. I'm just puttering along, working, sewing, gaming and sometimes writing. Just the usual :)

Happy b'day Cydling. Have a wonderful day and I owe you fic. I would write it cos I generally know what I want to write for you but I just read other fic, totally not the pairing I was planning to write for you and sadly the fic writing mood is not with me. But don't fret as it will be written!

Vague cyclone heads up

Jo poked me asking about the cyclone so here's what's happening.

At the moment we're not too worried. Tomorrow after work we're gonna punish the credit card and do an emergency supplies shop of things like tin food for us and Shadow and batteries and candles and water. Looking at the forecast they expect it to be eastish of Bundaberg on late Tuesday afternoon. That's as much as has been done so far.

If you hear anything about Tewantin, we're about a 20-30 minute drive inland from there and we're currently on vague "consider what if" type alert. Give it another day or so and we'll definitely be on full alert. The house is not going to get flooded although we might get flooded in road-wise. It's the wind that is our issue as we live in a old high-set Queenslander. Theres at least one tree that does need pruning *sighs*

local radar link (Pomona is under kinda under the first o in Cooran and in line witht he top of the T in Tewantin...we so should be on the map dammit)
cyclone track map

Will keep everyone updated and if we lose power or such and I can't get online I'll be phoning/texting Kalli or Suk to keep updates happening. But between now and something happening there's likely to be daily updates.

Maybe it's time to sign up for twitter *ponders*

So technically I haven't survived the second day of being in charge. Oh I've not blown the place up or anything. I've just not gotten much filled because of the EIGHT! orders I had to check off and write up return paperwork for 1 of them. So today I sepnt of my 8 hour shift 1 1/2 hours filling stock and the other 6 1/2 of marking stuff off to confirm we got charged for and sent the right stuff. Tomorrow is likely to be more hell *sighs*

Wanted to go for a walk this evening but didn't manage it and mum won't go for a walk tonight *pouts* So after my shower I think I'll do some stretches or something.

Up bright and early tomorrow so I won't be up for much longer. Just long enough to unwind with some gaming and them pass out. Will save G00 ep20 for after work tomorrow. Do not want to watch it tonight and have anything that happens possibly make me miserable or something.

Can I have a clone please?

FF characters in KH worlds

So if you were putting a FF7,8,10 character into KH, where would you put them? Characters are ones not already in the game and worlds are one that appeared in KH2. Oh and Vincent and Irvine are already spoken for so don't place them *grin*

Dilemma I currently have - I want to write pairings that individual peoples enjoy but can't if I want to write within the little series I have going as some are already paired up with others. I have no solution for this ^^; Damn hold that thought as I just solved the problem. Who said a pairing had to be only 2 *headdesk with laughter*

Right, am off to do laudnry and whatnot and try not to be on the compy all day so my butt doesn't get flatter ;)

B'days ^_^

Happy birthday Miko! *glomps* Remind me to write you a Zack-ish drabble once my mind puts Chaos and Cid down ♥♥♥ Have a great day, hun *chu*

Speaking of drabbles, here for everyone to read are two posted for peoples with b'days on lj yesterday ^_^

Fandom: FF8 does KH
Pairing: ? & Leon
For Nik

“Look lively, you mangy bilge rats! Capt’n on deck!”

Leon didn’t have to strain to hear the measured step of heavy footfalls headed in his direction. Everyone had fallen silent the moment their leader arrived, not that he could see the man yet with his head forced to look at the wooden planks. He guessed it was a man by the weight of each step, the deck under his knees vibrating as they moved closer.

“Good haul lads,” a rough voice said as heeled boots came into view and stopped right in front of the kneeling brunet. “Extra rations of rum tonight after it’s all stowed away.”

The chorus of cheers was deafening and Leon longed to cover his ears but hands shackled as they were he could do little.

The pirate ship had come out of nowhere, likely using the warp routes to drop in on unsuspecting space travelers and disable them before they could put up any kind of defense. Leon had tried but they’d hit his biggest guns first and his engine before he could get away. In hindsight he probably should have listened to Cid and not headed for the Coliseum for a few fights. He just hoped they’d be able to find him.

Drawn from his thoughts as a gloved hand grasped his chin tightly, Leon glared up at the captain of the pirates, hoping his eyes hadn‘t given him away. Why now? Leon wondered when familiar eyes showed no spark of recognition.

“Ain’t he a pretty one, Capt’n? Will fetch a good price in Agrabah.”

“True but I think I’d like to keep this one for myself. I be needing a new cabin boy and this one’ll do just fine.”

Ignoring the unsavory comments as the captain dragged him to his feet and tossed over his shoulder in a rattle of chains, Leon tried to see where they were going.

“Squirm and I’ll drop you on yer ass and drag you to my quarters,” the Captain growled, sounding more amused than angry as he smacked Leon’s upturned ass hard.

Leon growled back, grunting when his hit his head on a low overhead beam as he tried to lever his body off its uncomfortable perch.

“Oh, and mind yer head, lovely.”

Getting ready to fight in earnest, Leon stilled as a key rattled in a lock and a door opened on well-oiled hinges. From what he could see, it was the only old style door in the corridor. A hand on his back kept him down as his captor stepped through the door and it shut automatically behind them. Being dumped on a soft surface and a knee was pressed hard into his back to prevent him from rolling was uncomfortable.

“Get off me.”

“Now, now, I’m just undoing your restraints. It’ll take a moment with the key so be patient. Don’t want my cabin boy sullied by shackle marks.”

Laying still Leon listened to the loud click and the moment his hands were free the pressure on his back let up. Rolling over he glared up the captain, wondering exactly how to react.

The Captain made the choice for him, swiftly sitting down and pulling Leon into tight hug.

“Sweet Hyne, Squall, it’s good to see you,” Irvine whispered into his ear, all trace of his gruff pirate voice gone.

Leon let Irvine tumble them back onto the bed, Irvine’s ear pressed to his chest as Leon stroked his fingers through longer than he remembered hair.

“Good to see you too, Irvine,” Leon said, wondering if he could be bothered to explain he now went by a different name. He guessed that would come later, after they discussed the pirates giving him back his Gummi ship and escorting him home to Radiant Garden.

Fandom: FF7 does KH
Pairing: ? & Cid, with Sora and Cloud and Aerith and mention of Merlin ;)
For Elfen

Cid knew he was staring. It was damned hard not to with a six foot gargoyle standing in the middle of Merlin’s home. Well more off to one side seeing as it was still on top of the teleport ring Sora used but that was unimportant. It was a flipping gargoyle and according to the kid, it was his.

“What the hell am I to do with a hugeass moss collector? Use it as a hood ornament on my Gummi ship?” he asked as he got up from the computer and stalked towards the ‘gift’.

Cloud and the others stepped back to give Cid all the room he wanted.

Getting closer Cid frowned at the huge grey figure, walking slowly around it as his friends stared. It looked awfully familiar, a thought the pilot quickly brushed away. Now he really needed a smoke.

“Well I guess I can find some use for it. Workmanship looks good enough,” he grudgingly admitted as he pulled a slightly squashed cigarette packet from his pocket. “Nice details on the claws and wings. Where’d you find this one, kid?”

Not really listening to Sora’s answer of the world he had just saved and the souvenirs he’d brought back as he lit up and took a deep breath of nerve-calming smoke, Cid squinted at the gargoyle’s face and reached out as if to brush something off its cheek as he exhaled on a slightly shaky breath. His hand never touched the seemingly smooth rock surface as it instead met with warm, hard, suede covered skin. For a startled moment, Cid stared as glowing red eyes blinked and then glared at him, or more specifically the glowing stick hanging from his lips.

Not even having a chance to shout some kind of warning, Cid gaped as a furred hand snatched the cigarette from his lips and crushed it without flinching at the heat. There was a noise off to the side of as weapons were drawn and the muscled body before him growled deeply as it crouched down and then launched straight up through Merlin’s roof.

Staring up for a long moment as bits of wood and slate tiles hovered above his head before gliding back up to repair the roof, Cid saw the once gargoyle and now familiar demon circle the house and then fly off to the south, disappearing stars making its path.

“And hello to you too. Dumbass, use the friggin door next time,” Cid growled as he fished out a fresh smoke. “And don’t touch me smokes!”

“What was that, Cid?” Sora asked, his eyes wide and excited. “That was awesome. I didn’t know gargoyles could come to life like that.”

“That was no gargoyle, Sora,” Cloud said in his quiet voice and Cid stared at bright, knowing eyes. “I’ll go see where he went.” And like that the blond was gone, leaving Cid to answer all Sora’s curious questions.

Cid let out a long-suffering sigh and pointed Sora in the direction of Merlin’s table where the rest of the group was pulling out chairs. Aerith offered Cid a glass of something dark and he smiled his thanks. Trust the healer to know exactly what he needed.

“Let me tell you of a man named Vincent and the demon called Chaos.”

So yes, mind currently taken up by Chaos and Cid. Must say it's nice to write even though it was only a small amount.

Christmas drabbles

Another year, another set of drabbles.

Good morning everyone *curls up with* Am not entirely awake yet. Need food but will get to that shortly. I'm gonna make me some bacon and eggs and muffins. Yum :)

25 drabbles this year compared to 21 last year. omg so that's where my brain went. All but one has been sent *hugs Kalli* Yours is going to be a New years gift I think, sweetling ♥ A couple did give me much trouble in refusing to be written and I've got a couple new fandoms that I did drabbles for. Not really planning to write in them again but you never know where one might be inspired to play.

The many varied drabbles include: FF7, FF8, FF8/WK crossover cos certain peoples know how to twist my arm, FF8/FF9 crossover AU but it's not really AU to the rp gals, FFX, KH, LoK because there will likely never be a drabble post without some vampy lovin, D.E. cos how can I not play there, SW...yes SW which was much of a challenge, Bleach cos I'm a Bleach fangirl and they are Bleach fangirls too...remind me to watch the latest episode after breakfast, a Suikoden one and a G00 one. Yep, I wrote a G00 drabble and do hope I haven't botched it up.

You're welcome to try and guess who got what but you also don't have to. Some of those drabbles had a few false starts so hopefully they turned out okay. Not everyone got drabbles, sorry, as for some I have no idea at all what to write and some are short but that's what the muses gave me ^^; Anyways go read and enjoy. I'm off to make some food.

Squall made the best snow. Qusitis said it was due to his high junction level with Shiva. Others believed that no less than the best was acceptable to their Commander. Seifer told them all it was an innate ability, that the ice princess was a cold bastard so snow was no trouble really. No one was surprised to hear Seifer slept on the sofa that night.

Seifer tasted of milk and chocolate chip cookies as Squall kissed him languidly, one hand holding the itchy white beard out of the way while the other attempted to undo the belt hidden by a very fake oversized belly. Neither man saw or heard the young boy gaping at them as they kissed under the mistletoe. The following morning Squall made Seifer explain to Isan that Santa didn’t really exist and that no, mommy hadn’t been kissing a stranger.

Leon was doing his best to listen to Cid explain how to make good old-fashioned egg-nog. It was just a little hard when Sora, Riku, Cloud and Aerith were sitting on the other side of the table sucking suggestively on candy canes.

Toshiro had forgotten it was Christmas in the real world when Mastumoto convinced him to attend a hot spring with her. They’d shocked quite a few patrons by kissing under the mistletoe as was tradition according to Ichigo and his friends from school. It was Toshiro’s first kiss, but certainly not his last with how his vice-captain was now watching him.

Kenpachi promised a world of hurt with his eyes should anyone comment on what Yachiru had done to his hair. He should have known better than to let her play with it before the party. Bykauya’s eyes promised death should another choose to take advantage of the eleven pieces of mistletoe that replaced Kenpachi’s usual bells. Kenpachi made sure to lean over his companion often and also made a mental note to buy something special for his daughter.

Leon eyed the mistletoe carefully. He’d read in the library that it was poisonous and could not bring himself to relax in a room decorated with the stuff, tradition or not. He didn’t get a chance to read more about it thanks to Yuffie dragging him away to help with party arrangements. With the strategic placement of the green sprigs Leon couldn’t help but wonder if they were going to explode or something. The random travelers passing through Radiant Garden had the strangest ideas of fun. Understanding came later when Cloud dragged him under one bunch and kissed him until he couldn’t think. Then it was much fun.

There was a plastic tree decorated with lights and colorful bits of paper and old console buttons in one of the busier corridors of the Hoth base. Luke had no idea where someone had found the tree or what purpose it served other than to provide something different to look at other than white, white, random parts, supplies and more white. After a long lecture on customs of Alderaan and Christmas in particular from a certain protocol droid, Luke decided it was time to work on his light saber skills. Surely Leia would enjoy an ice sculpture of her homeworld more than the tree Han found.

Irvine decided not to let Kuja out of his dorm room for the entirety of the Christmas party. The short festive Santa’s helper costume was not the problem. It was the large velvet bow attached to a lightly swaying tail. Irvine decided it was one present only he was allowed to unwrap.

Roxas didn’t know if he should laugh or not. Red really wasn’t Axel’s color. Especially the tight fitting Santa suit with an Organization design overcoat and white fur edged hat, even if the outfit did come complete with Santa’s sleigh to take for a ride.

Vorador preferred to stay with Janos during the winter months, the swamp he so loved becoming a slushy mess due to the extreme cold. The pure white snow surrounding Janos’ aerie wasn’t much better but more often than not he barely noticed the world outside his sire’s bed where he could see wings quiver in pleasure and watch blood stained lips gasp his name. He knew of no better gift than the other vampire in his arms.

Braska was quite content to remain in Bevelle while many of Yevon’s priests and worshippers fled to Luca’s warmer climate. After all, it would be difficult for his little Yuna to teach their new friend, a warrior monk named Auron, how to catch snowflakes on his tongue if there wasn’t any around.

It was the middle of a freezing cold night when Kenpachi returned from a mission, eyes still bright from the excitement of battle. Byakuya took one look at his unexpected guest and donned his warmest coat and gloves before joining the entire eleventh squad in the largest snowball fight Seireitei had ever seen. It didn’t take them long to cool down and seek their beds, a victorious Kenpachi dragging Byakuya off to his bed as spoils of war.

Tseng found he didn’t actually mind attending the Shin-ra staff Christmas party. With Reno spiking everything to drink, the head of the Turk division eventually got decent bribe material on everyone, even SOLDIER members, for the next year if not longer.

It had been Sumeragi’s idea to hold a Christmas party, insisting everyone dress for the season. Tieria was not amused to be dressed as Santa’s helper, the red coat with white trim all he was allowed to wear besides a pair of red boots. He kept trying to pull it down, worried with how he was beginning to feel about Setsuna was watching his every move when he was supposed to be handing out gifts from his Santa sack. Lasse solved the problem by wrapping him in a large red sheet, tying it with and equally large silver ribbon and presenting him to Setsuna who promptly carried his present from the room for unwrapping, Lasse following them with a pleased smile, red nose flashing and reindeer antlers slightly askew.

Sparhawk said nothing as Talen crawled into bed with him, the teen thief complaining about how cold it was outside the Chapter house, about the snow making it hard for him to find any useful information and about the speed of the cook with her spoon. Yet he tasted of spiced fruit tarts when he opened his mouth to the knight’s kisses, Sparhawk covering the slightly chilled youth with his body. Talen would warm up soon enough and forget all about the pre-Christmas festivities outside.

Squall was glad he didn’t unwrap his secret santa gift in front of the rest of the orphanage gang. The perfectly molded glass dildo could have only come from one person and he didn’t want anyone to know just how well hung his boyfriend was. He was also banning Irvine from giving him secret santa gifts ever again, no matter how good they were.

Squall wasn’t sure who to kiss first when Irvine and Laguna trapped him under the mistletoe, arms wrapped around each other to keep him between them. They didn’t seem to sure either, Laguna solving the dilemma by kissing Irvine first. Squall simply enjoyed the show while waiting for his turn to kiss his older lover.

It was well known that Seifer preferred summer over winter, just like Squall enjoyed the winter more or Zell liked any kind of thunderstorm. The gunblader stayed with Balamb instead of accepting missions in warmer areas. Winter meant Zell in his small bed every night, snuggling close under warm blankets, tattooed cheek using his chest for a pillow. One of these days Seifer would apply for double occupancy and a bigger bed but for now he was content to leave things as they were.

It had been totally unexpected, the mistletoe sprig hanging above the bar in the small tavern they‘d called into for the night. Both Trevor and Alucard knew it was likely meant for a barmaid to be given a kiss and yet here they were standing together under it. An expectant hush fell over the rowdy bar and Alucard caught a glimpse of Trevor’s gloved hand just before it slid lightly along his jaw, tilting his face slightly upwards. The whistles were deafening, Trevor’s body hard and his blood intoxicating. Alucard made sure to keep his face hidden as he licked his lips clean and retracted his fangs. Trevor ordered wine for them both and left an extra tip for their helpful barmaid.

Snowball fights were not Squall’s thing. He did better at close combat, his aim well off as he tried to hit Irvine or Yohji with a handful of compacted snow. What he didn’t expect was an attack from his ‘teammate’, Aya’s hands as cold as the snow now melting in his pants. The offer of a hot shower to warm up was quickly accepted, the door locked to keep out the two fools who suggested the game in the first place.

King Mickey could never understand why all of his and Goofy’s socks went missing the closer it got to Christmas. Finally one of Donald’s nephews explained that bigger socks meant more gifts from Santa. Mickey made sure Minnie gave everyone the largest socks she could find for Christmas.

Sephiroth sized up his opponent carefully. The proportions were near perfect, not too tall or wide. He could hear Zack grumbling at him to just hurry up, complaining about the cold as if this wasn’t his idea to begin with. It’ll bring color to your room…and Cloud will like it, he’d said not a couple hours earlier. Yet as Masamune glinted in the sunlight, blade slightly tarnished with fresh earth, Sephiroth couldn’t help but wonder what Hojo was going to think of a living decorated tree in his SOLDIER quarters. Not that he cared, if he could see Cloud smile. That was all that mattered.

Tir felt quite safe as he knelt on Gremio’s steady shoulders to place a star on the brightly decorated tree. There were a few gasps when he slipped, a familiar set of arms catching him well before he would have hit the floor. Smiling as he was carried away, Tir enjoyed the way Gremio’s heart beat just that little faster for him. It was worth the scolding he was about to get for scaring everyone.

Lulu snuggled into Auron’s coat that he draped over her chilled body as he went to take his turn at watching the snow covered cave mouth for monsters. Sleepily she cast a wind spell that wrapped about the warrior monk like a warm caress, a nod of thanks and a slight smile following her into her dreams.

There was little Irvine enjoyed more than waking up on Christmas morning with a naked Squall in his bed and no responsibilities to drag his lover away.

Now...about that food *putters off*

my christmas eve so far

Am working on catching up on commenting and replying to comments. I know I need to back track zalia's lj and catch up on the advent calendar pics and a few other posts. LJ is being quiet one day and busy the next so if I miss an important post, poke me. I'll squeak ;)

Nothing much in the mail today but for a thing from the bank saying my loan repayments are going to be a few dollars cheaper as of next month. um yay I guess.

Sleeping on my back was not fun and not being able to stretch and roll over even less fun. I did however start dozing off on the couch this afternoon. Damn comfy that and now I can see why mum is always passing out on it.

Today involved many things. Shadow had his booster vacc shot and we have a round of quaterzone steroids things to put him on for the tail thing. The vet says flea irritation. I say it's the new shampoo so I've got him some plain non-medicated stuff. Will see if that works. $180 later and omg we get home. $100 later after going to the shop and home we go again. The doc said they would drop the paperwork into work for me and Rhonda gave me a kitten plush in a santa hat. it's so cute.

Was very glad not to work today. They looked hella busy and even worse is the freezers with all the icecream in them packed it in. Carts full of ruined icecream and pies all had to be tossed. It looked like mayhem.

All the walking about and I couldn't walk fast at all. it's not that I"m in pain but like they body just doesn't have the energy to go forwards. You've all seen me in go mode. Slow that to less than half and that is me getting around today. I have to make sure the road is clear before crossing in case I can't get over in time cos I"m going so slow. Just no energy or sense of urgency getting through at all.

The heaviest thing I've picked up today was three pizzas. And even then I put them straight onto the cart, very careful of which way I was bending.

So off out of the house we went again. I brought us a new tv. nice 32 inch flatscreen for the lounge room. We're going thirds in it and I so want to see if the playstation hooks up *GRIN* Now we just need a decent stereo for sound seeing as the speakers on the tv face downwards *headdesk* The old tv is currently on the other couch and will end up somewhere eventually. Possibly in my room as the sound on my telly is going. Will have to see if it fits first. it's not black though *pouts* I like my non distracting black tv. Am debating getting one for my room but I'll need a different cabinet first so shadow can still sit on top. would be much funny to see him try to cling to the top of a skinny telly XD

The guy at the warehouse we had to go to to pick up the tv was not exactly cute but nice and cheerful and good for a laugh. I think I went to school with him or he's local cos he sure seemed familiar to me.

My brain is getting old.

Anyways I'm being a total bum tonight. I've not eaten anything since four slices of pizza at lunch. Might grab some fruit and water cos omfg it's damn hot here. We want a storm but not a power outage like last night. Was eerie to drive through town and see no lights but for the local store all lit up cos of its generator and and lights for the railway line. Pizza place was packed too XD

Expect a spammy gnome as I have a few posts yet to make XDDD Be very afraid ;)

i hurts much

i hurts much.

was reaching to the side and downwards sort of to pick up a wooden chopping board out of a box in the cart I was working from and pain. all the way across my mid to lower back. i'm pulling something or pinching something. and it wasn't even heavy dammit. hurts more on my left to move than my right but I hurts. We're doing the work compo thing so I have to remember to visit the doc tomorrow and then take the forms over to work. am on some anti-inflamatory drugs. hopefully not allergic to them cos that would suck. not that this doesn't suck enough already.

do not touch the wooden chopping boards as they are cursed.

so I have the rest of today off work and tomorrow. then it's christmas *rolls eyes* what a time to hurt myself considering how busy we are and how much there is to do. not to mention taking Shadow to the vet tomorrow...

Shadow is either having an allergic reaction to the new shampoo we're washing him with or he's got mites. he's due for a booster shot too so we'll be doing all that as well.

notice I've not been posting the something happy for each day meme although I got tagged. was actually going to start doing that tonight but yeah, not exactly well here. will probably do a post later for it.

i'm off to see what cold packs we have in the freezer for my back. and then I'm not sure. this is my first real work related injury. I want it to be my last ^^;

Quiet kind of day

So night before last I had a dream and Suk was in it. Last night Neko was in my dream and for some reason it was and wasn't con related. Much weird a dream. Does this mean I get Kalli tonight seeing as the dreams are having my US flist in them? Maybe there will be vampires and sex involved *fingers crossed*

XD

It's cloudy and trying to rain some. I'm going to have a good day I think. The next three days will be hell but then there's four days off to enjoy and I ordered pizza from work for Christmas eve which we can then also eat for Christmas and not have to cook ;) I need to do up a bit of a shopping list of stuff I want mum to buy. I am so looking forward to those days off. Rhonda also announced she's got 3 weeks off in late Feb next year. omg I'm going to be a totally stressed out mess when that happens after just the three days this year *whimpers*

Am still gaining weight -_-

Good chance I won't be at the compy today. I am cleaning house, ie my room, and doing things in the spare room and doing laundry. I want things done so the four days off are free for lounging and watching cricket and gaming and perhaps if I'm lucky some writing too. And of course chatting online <333

Just had some JWs call into the house. Hid in the room. They are so not ruining my weekend.

I'm surprised dad has gone downtown for a bit. Hopefully not too long considering yesterday evening after phoning mum to go pick him up he fell over drunk and put a lovely gash in his forehead. They were gone to the hospital for like 4 hours. He seems okay this morning though. Idiot needs to drink much less and get a hobby that isn't drinking or gambling dammit. He actually tried to hide his face from me when he got home cos he was bloody and mum had to clean him up. I thought he'd been in a fight till I heard them talking. As far as I was concerned so long as nothing was broken everything was fine. I went back to washing dishes while mum cleaned him up some and then decided he did need stitches. When they got back I was in the process of getting ready for bed so I had a quick look at the stitches and then went to get some sleep. Not seen how he looks yet but he does sound okay.

Now for me to be off and doing things. I'm in the mood to pop some music on and clean. Remembered to get my cd-r disks yesterday too and so will be burning off some music as well. Yay.

Something amusing from the local paper

When four of Santa's elves got sick, the trainee elves did not produce toys as fast as the regular ones, and Santa began to feel the Pre-Christmas pressure.

Then Mrs Claus told Santa her Mother was coming to visit, which stressed Santa even more.

When he went to harness the reindeer. he found that three of them were about to give birth and two others had jumped the fence and were out, Heaven knows where.

Then when he began to load the sleigh, one of the floorboards cracked, the toy bag fell to the ground and all the toys were scattered.

Frustrated, Santa went in the house for a cup of apple cider and a shot of rum. When he went to the cupboard, he discovered the elves had drank all the cider and hidden the liquor. In his frustration, he accidentally dropped the cider jug, and it broke into hundreds of little glass pieces all over the kitchen floor. He went to get the broom and found the mice had eaten all the straw off the end of the broom.

Just then the doorbell rand, and irritated Santa marched to the door, yanked it open, and there stood a little angel with a great big Christmas tree.

The angel said very cheerfully, 'Merry Christmas, Santa. Isn't this a lovely day? I have a beautiful tree for you. Where would you like me to stick it?'

And so began the tradition of the little angel on top the Christmas tree.

Yay for local papers that try to amuse everyone XD

Of chocolate in the post, anon gifts in the post *blushes* and evil work in general...

I must admit it was probably not my wisest thought to take the tube of minstrels I received to work. I know I did eat most of them but now have a couple of the staff asking me to share the next time I get some too ^^; They are just so damn tasty compared to smarties and m&ms. Mini m&ms are still yummy too though. Thank you Emerald! Was much tasty <3

I also have a calendar. Tis a pretty calendar for 2009. Arrived from Spain. It's of Kuro-chan and Fai <3 It is made of yay and pretty and omg someone brought me a 09 calendar and I don't have one yet. Also a matter of where the hell am I going to put it XD Did I mention it's pretty? Twelve months of Kuro/Fai fanart with the occasional appearance of the other Fai. Is that a spoiler to say that? *looks only a little worried* So who am I showering with love for the pretty? Cos seriously no idea but I'm guessing one of the con crew cos you all know I didn't find a calendar this year. Although I could be wrong too. But yes THANK YOU! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Am currently waiting for dinner to cook. Yes, it's after 9pm for me but mum forgot to put the lamb on before she left to pick me up and then I forgot to ask thinking it was already on till after 8 and so it's cooking. Mmmm moroccan lamb yum.

Work was tiring. I dreamed this morning where there was work crew and family and flist buddies all in the one dream and omg so tiring. Can't even remember what was happening in it. I need drugs so I don't dream or something. I spent all day in lollies again and it's not finished. Damn close though. Bring on the next two weeks where we don't receive orders so I can catch up on everything.

Watched FF:AC during lunch, specifically the Kadaj and Cloud fight and then the Sephiroth and Cloud fight. Think Seph might have cast and quake spell to get the top of the Shin-ra tower to start falling on them before he sliced at it? Watching them fight...esp the bit where Cloud is having a flash thought of all that is precious to him makes me want to write Cloud/Denzel >.>

Oh...just realized the noise coming from my headphones on the desk is the Dissidia site playing music at me XD

Food is ready. Gonna grab it and then do the relaxing thing here. Remind me to buy Cd-R disks tomorrow so I can do some music up. Mmmm fooooooooooooooooood.

I am not really all that awake. Hopefully this will change before I head to work.

Work yesterday wasn't too bad really. I got some things done, not as much as I wanted of course but somethings. And that was after having three dreams of work and a two-part dream of going home for something and having work people in it ^^; By home I'm referring to Tasmania. Mum and I both do it although we've lived in Queensland since I was five. But yes, no idea how I managed it but I did survive work. Wednesday sucked though. Spent my whole seven and a half hour shift in the lollies aisle. Sweet Hyne never want to spend all day in there ever again.

Am currently thinking I really need to clean off my desk and finish writing cards and packing parcels. Yes, i am still doing those. Posted off one parcel yesterday and a small pile of cards. Here's hoping they arrive in time.

Have the air-con on already because it's going to be 35C today so it's working to cool down some of the house for when mum and dad get home from work. Even at 9am it feels like it's 30C already.

Work staff party tonight. I'm not going. Everyone keeps asking me why and my <strike>reasons</strike> excuses are as follows: I finish work at 7.30pm, party starts at 6pm. I'd have to eat before I went due to crappy cold food being served last year and me not eating enough of it and then only having a couple drinks before feeling rather ill. Have to take own drinks as I don't drink really drink beer, wine or champagne. Music sucked. And one reason that fully sums it up - I'd rather be at home socializing with my online friends than bored at a party with work peoples who really are not my friends. It's probably something that would truly offend many of the work-crew if I said that hey we're only work buddies. I work with you all I do not want to socialize with you all. I believe I decided last year that I would not attend this year unless they offered something better than the same old thing at the local hall. At least book the pub so there's other things to do besides stare at people and trying not to be bored.

Oh look, I've procrastinated much ^^; I'm to get things done so I can get mum to send off more things for me.

<333

Cards will be late? We are not surprised.

Filling out cards while listening to the Macross F soundtrack makes for interesting missing of words. Also brought myself a usb plasma ball. It's gonna be my Christmas tree ;) Could have grabbed one of those too b ut not knowing how fast it flashes does not help when ordering online.

Cards will be late this year. Sorry. So not organized. Am hoping to get some sent off tomorrow. I kinda forgot that while it looks easy as a list of names, once it gets to filling out cards and wrapping gifts and organizing customs cards for parcels it takes ages longer. I've only myself to blame too cos I had addys so early. I simply can't help but try to add a little something to each card just for the recipient ^^; I do love to spoil you all.

Now it's getting late and the eyes are not cooperating the way I want them to so I'm going to be falling into bed. Right after I sync the new songs to the ipod so I have them tomorrow.

Maybe I should set my alarm for early and see how many I can get filled out in the morning before work.

Sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep *curls up kitten snuggle pile with everyone*

Haven't updated here in a little bit. Keep forgetting to crosspost ^^; Although usually when I check the flist it's kinda quiet too. Guess it's that time of year where everyone is busy.

I have the urge to find and link you all to Aussie Christmas songs. Blame Rolf Harris being played at work yesterday. Does any of the Aussie flist actually have a CD of Aussie songs?

Work is evil and it's only going to get worse. It's only because there's simply not enough hours to do stuff. I'm still trying to catch up from Friday.

Cards and gifts are likely going to be late. Was supposed to work on them this morning but got distracted by the search for a new phone service provider. We're not happy with the one we currently have who are about to up their charges...tomorrow. So we're making some calls etc and looking at things online hence me not getting any work on cards done *sighs*

I probably should start getting ready for work. Poor mum is on the phone to our current provider, has been outsourced. Why can't we get nice Aussie peoples to chat to how understand the slang and all that.

Right, off to shower and make some lunch and get ready for work *clings to flist*

Wasn't so bad but I feel like I didn't get much done. Bloody Christmas display ends. I did up the other today and we still have some stock left over that we need to find space for. And yes, i grabbed a box of the brandy chocolates. Could not help myself. I was eying off the mini reindeers made by lindt but they're hollow so I won't be worry about getting any of those. We have sour candy canes!!! Am seriously tempted to get some and send them out XD

Hit the fabric shop and get a better sized zipper and blue cotton. I can now almost finish my sekrit project. Need to find some clips other than what I have. Something for another day.

I had a sandwich made of fail. Didn't make it myself but got it from the deli section. Chicken roll meat, lettuce and mayonnaise. Practically no flavour to it at all -_- My cut of tea has more flavour.

Tis almost 9pm and so I'm going to trawl lj and comment on things and answer comments. Then it'll probably be time to pass out.

Storm and yes, sewing happened!

We have a storm coming. Complete with lightning. Should be here in about 20 minutes if that. Will probably shut the compy down just in case.

Sewing today has happened. I'm rather pleased with how things are going. Need to get correct blue cotton though. Will see about that tomorrow.

Will be heading off tomorrow a half hour earlier than normal. Unfortunately it won't be for posting things. Mum and dad are heading off to do stuff so I am getting dropped off early. But that means I can hit the drapery, show off pics from cosplay and then ask a few questions about what I'm currently working on. I kinda need a little help before diving in this time around.

Err storm is getting much close so I'm turning the compy off now. Here's hoping it cools down. It's so hot and sticky :(

Suzaku kitty pattern ish ordered!

Ordered a pattern for the Suzaku kitty cosplay today and yes, I totally plan to start sewing after New Years. If I don't start early then nothing will be ready in time. Sewing during the week is impossible and so it will all have to happen on weekends. Starting early will allow for the omg so not motivated weekends.

I thought of something else to add to my wishlist. How could I forget that I want an Auron action figure. One of the re-run Japanese versions that was on play-asia. I knew I should have grabbed it when I saw it *smacks self*

I have photos developed ^_^ I need to get my noticeboard thing back up and nailed down so it doesn't fall and break something else. The girl at the chemist where I got my pics done was asking about the aquarium seeing as I got some of the jellyfish pics done. They have the option of printing on canvas. Am very tempted.

Hey Neko - pics please? I want to add us to my noticeboard.

It's warmish here today. We were supposed to be getting a storm tomorrow but they've changed the forecast :( I wanted a storm dammit cos I'm always at work when the storms pass over and so don't get to enjoy the lightning.

Now to go lounge on the bed and write more drabbles and play the psp seeing as it charged overnight.

am I spoiled? probably but not in the way she's accusing me of

Bleach manga 334. Um...did not see that coming although was wondering where she has been all this time. Bad feeling about this really so hopefully they won't drag it out too long.

Work sucked. Always does on Fridays. Never really got everything finished but not to worry.

Can't remember how the talk started but was chatting with one of the female co-workers, whom I really can't stand at times, and she said she believes I'm spoiled. Wha? I think it was all because I admitted that some nights dinner is cooked for me when I get home. I finish work at 7.30pm. Usually by this time mum and dad have eaten and there's some for me too if I feel up to it or I save it for lunch th next day. She thinks I should cook something for myself when I get home. she needs her fucking head read. For me to cook my own meal once I got home would be a waste of power to cook it and then water and detergent to do the extra dishes. Not to mention that I probably wouldn't bother at all and then end up eating worse than I already am.

Sure, I think I'm spoiled at times but not the way she's saying I am and I do return the favour.

Ages back when mum and dad were both working and wouldn't be home till close to dinnertime, I'd cook for all three of us during the morning before I left for work in the early afternoon. Does this mean that they're spoiled? I feel for her kids if that's her way of thinking. I'm not freeloading or anything of the kind.

I shouldn't have to explain myself to her and am quite pleased when she left he aisle red-faced when I argued my point of cooking and cleaning up 8-9pm at night. It makes no sense at all and is truly a waste.

Anyways enough bitching. Fucking yay it's the weekend.

* <strike>develop some photos</strike>
* christmas stuffs
* sewing of sekrit thing
* cleaning room
* maybe some gaming

I really do need to get back into gaming. Got so many unfinished games and quite a few unstarted ones too. I don't think I do anything since I went back to work that is truly relaxing. it's all go go go and stress stress and fall over pass out asleep and dream of work while sleeping and then get up and do it all again.

Um...how much charge is in the psp I wonder ^^;

I think I'll grab another glass of lemonade and chill our for another hour before sleeping. Catch ya all over the weekend! ♥♥

Now to remember where I brought that candle holder from.

Urk it's all sticky and hot here this morning.

Sleeping was actually happening, I was dead to the world and doing the dreaming thing until the new noticeboard fell off the wall at around 4am. Knocked over some stuff which ended up breaking one of my glass candle holders. Am not happy and still have glass to clean up as at the time the priority was un-glassed drinking water for Shadow and more sleep.

Today will be a good day at work *nods* We will be busy and it will go quickly. I demands it.

Also must write Dissidia Jecht/Tidus or Squall or someone cos daddy porns are needed. Jecht is looking tasty the brief glance that is given.

Anyone placing bets on Dissidia cosplay at con next year?

can I start sewing yet?

Good evening all. Happy Halloween. If we celebrated here I probably would be in Trevor hunting down the chibi vampires :3 ooooh I should eat a sour bat or two.

Anyways an update of sorts I guess seeing as not much is happening here this evening.

Work sucked in that my back started hurting around 3pm and I still had 4 hours of work to go. I puttered about not exerting myself too much and survived. I think I got most everything done but tough if I didn't cos it's now the weekend.

November tomorrow...nano tomorrow. Am I ready? Hell no.

I'm actually itching to start cleaning the spare room and drag mum off fabric shopping. I'm to blame for this but so is Kalli for encouraging me and suggesting extra. You'll all find out eventually what is going on but do expect me to lose my mind before next con. Oh and I've decided I'm going to need an overlocker. It'll be a good investment really. Kalli, expect me to pester you over the weekend about this. You've got me all twitchy excited now *bounces madly* We will be FAAAAAABULOUS! Cos seriously we can't not do it now.

Am tired so will likely go curl up on the bed with nano notes to do some planning. Mum and dad are out for part of tomorrow so I plan to do much of the writing thing when I'm not doing the chatting thing or the omg twitchy cleaning thing.

mmmmm chocolate with pop rocks :3

Some of you may remember last year where I added chocolate egg like shaped elves gems to packages...you know the chocolate with pop rocks in it that bubble in your mouth? Guess what I'm eating right now ^_______________________________^ and you should have see how quick mum's hand was out for some when I showed her what was back in the store XD

So yes, if you do not want the weird candy, do tell me now as they will likely be dropped randomly into some of the packages I'm sending out. and the card list was looking sedate too until I added the package list *laughs*

Finally got around to watching G00 ep4. While at work during lunch. Yay for ickle subs on the ipod touch. Still do not like Lyle. Bastard. Go Feldt! And Haro was much funny during that scene.

I'm going to fall into bed in a few. I need sleep rather badly. Much to do this weekend and not just nano XD

why would seph want to fight little ol' me?

Note to self: do not try to be fighting Sephiroth outside your nan's house when your sword familiar is resting. Be much thankful that Sephiroth's was too so there was nothing to do but wait.

And be very afraid that your sword familiar human form is Jack Black.

Yes, Gnome had weird dreams this morning and I'm blaming watching Geass till 2am, an annoying bout of indigestion and thinking of nano fic when going to sleep. It started with me looking at swords. Not any ordinary swords but character swords and don't ask which cos I can't remember. I had a kickass sword that transformed into some kind of glass like baseball bat type thing *frowns at it* but it certainly wasn't glass *evil smirk at the huge dints it was leaving in things* Seph dropped in and wanted to fight but we couldn't because our familiars wouldn't cooperate...and then I woke up. Very friggen weird.

I am not awake nor am I here. I get ready for work in about half an hour and have some thing to do so I'm puttering about doing that instead *loves on all*
